Tear Tape Print Registration

A new tool for Cigarette Marketing from AccuPac The AccuPac Tear Tape Print Registration facility is designed to complement the standard AccuPac Film Print Registration System. This new feature will enable the use of print registered tear tape or print registered film to be used on the same packaging machine. Simple changeover is achieved by the operator at the press of a button.

Tear Tape Registration is available as an option with all new systems or as a retro-fit upgrade to all existing systems. The upgrade has all the features that are available with the full AccuPac Print Registration System.

Benefits:
  • Print Repeat Tolerance AccuPac is designed to accurately position the printed tear tape, irrespective of the print repeat variations supplied by the printer.

  • Enables use of pre-printed tear tape for on-pack marketing and sales promotions.

  • Any pack size, any length or width of tear tape.

  • Delivery time from receipt of order - typically eight weeks.

  • User adjustable print position on the pack during machine operation.

  • Automatic correction and rejection of out of registration packs following automatic and manual splice of tear tape.

  • Automatic set up of print position following re-threading of tear tape.

  • Automatic machine stop if the registration mark is missing or undetected (user-set number of missing marks)

  • Operator instructions displayed on the colour touch screen interface.

  • Fault messages and On-line Help displayed on the colour touch screen interface, giving reasons for the system stop or malfunction.

  • The colour touch screen interface is supplied in dual language, English plus customer-specified language.

  • Engineering diagnostics are available through the operator panel.
